Setting apart/MTC

Tuesday evening our wonderful Bishop, Bishop Taner Maia and dear Stake President, President Russell Clayton came over to set apart Charlotte for her mission.  Sister Charlotte Partridge was blessed with many wonderful things to help her on her mission.  One being the spirit of discernment and also being a good companion to those she serves with. She will be "preserved" while serving in Indianapolis, Indiana, so we know she will be protected.  It was nice that the Stake President asked each adult family member to give her some advice and also the Bishop was invited to do the same.

Wednesday morning was full of packing and making sure everything was ready to go by 10:30 a.m.  We picked up Sophia, Kent and Jared and went to say goodbye to a dear friend, Kaitlyn Phillips.
Brick Oven was full of missionaries getting ready to report.

We drove by the temple but no one wanted to get out and take pictures so here's a picture of what we saw.

Sister Partridge getting excited to be dropped off.  We were in line for about 15 minutes before entering the MTC curbside dropoff point. She was shining, ready to go...

Here we go with saying goodbye to the missionary.

It was fun giving her hugs!  Mom didn't want to let go of this sweet sister missionary!
The boys didn't get out but gave hugs over the seat.  Then, there she goes....

Sister Stoddard was the welcoming host missionary (she is going to the Phillipines).
