Miracle Week! ...and some fun... :)

This week was crazy! I saw soooo many great things!
Monday: We knocked doors after our Prep day was over (at 4pm). Because we were so obedient we ran into Becca. Becca met the Purdue campus missionaries couple of years ago when she was a student, she was very curious about Joseph Smith and kind of wanted a Book of Mormon. But when the missionary offered to teach her and get her a Book of Mormon she miss understood, got scared and never went to the institute. We left her with a Book and talked about backpacking for the next half hour! I want to go hiking soooo bad! Any way she is excited and might get her roommate into it too!

Tuesday: We made a plan to hand out 5 copies of The Book of Mormon... it didn't happen but instead Sister Collins was inspired to tract this rich street! They have some really pretty houses, any way, we met Audrey. She doesn't go to church because she believes in the God head and not the Trinity and all the churches she has studied don't follow what she believes so ... that was that. She had to go before we could introduce anything. But wait for it....

Wednesday: I felt so bad for Audrey, we had to go back. I had no idea what we were going to say but I knew we needed to give her a Book of Mormon. Surprisingly, she let us in and we talked about her ideas and our ideas and she said "sure, I'll study this book". But she couldn't see the words, they were too small so she said she would check the library and we could come next week.
Miracle #2- we had a Large Print Book of Mormon in our old apartment!!!! God loves us!

Thursday: Making Millie happy was the miracle today. Millie has depression and lives in the Veteran's Home. She normally doesn't go anywhere but today she was waiting out in the hall for her nails to be painted, she we did! She loves pink and Hates blue!

Friday: Happy Year Mark for Sister Collins! :D We had a great time tracting!

Saturday: We went to see Mary Philips- a less active. But when her husband answered the door, we found out Mary died 3 years ago...ya! Way less active! But it has totally softened his heart. We listened to his stories, but had to leave. We went to see him on Sunday.

Sunday: Sam came to Church!!!! Oh Glorious day!!! Sister Collins and I sang in the choir and he loved it! He is moving along slowly but surly.

Miracles happen Every Day, we just need to keep our eyes open!
Keep Smiling! :D
Love you all! Have a Great week!

Muslims are Pretty Cool!

Muslims are Christian too!

This week was loooooooong, it would never end. We had zone conference this week and it was fun, lots of food. I think I've already gained 20 pounds, and we got a notice on our door about being loud in the mornings so that means no more Julian Micheal's workouts. Its been hard since then to actually do anything....so if you want to help out, I could really use some Pinterest workouts if you have a favorite, I'll take it!

Sister Collins and I have been trying really hard and we finally found a great location. A member mentioned a lady who was interested in there old neighborhood, so we tracted the whole street. We never found her but we did find quite a few people who were at least willing to talk with us. The first was one of the most energetic old ladies I have ever seen! Julie is a Bapticostal. She said the baptist church got her to the cross and the Pentecostal church taught her how to use that gift.
She had been praying that morning for more knowledge and Alica-Zam, we showed up! She doesn't know how much we will change her life but she's about to find out! We left this enthusiastic lady with a Book of Mormon and said we will see you soon...this woman is amazing, she knows more about the Enabling power of the Atonement then some Mormons do! She commanded God one day to take away her fibromyalgia, she used scripture and her faith was so great she no longer has it. I really pray the spirit will teach her about the truth!
Second is Baig, a small but strong in spirit Muslim man. Out of all the people I have ever met in my life Baig is probably the most kind man on the planet. He was the only one who talked with us on Friday and now we are going to have breakfast with him and his wife and go to his ... synagogue?... with him on Friday this week. He has a daughter that married a Christian so I'm hoping we have an in. I'm also exited to get a name tag in Arabic, because you can order them if you have an investigator who speaks that language. I will update you guys on that next week, but until then...I love you all, and may Heavenly Father be with you this week.
Have a Great Week!!! :D
