The Power of a Loving God

This week we worked hard and talked with a lot of people, we got a
return apt. with this kid from Nigeria. He wants to have a bible study with us, his name is Excel.
We met a family you could say. Harold and Harold Jr. are two super
nice old men we met while tracting, we will teach them, not sure yet when, but they're chill! Harold Jr. camps out in the backyard, you go Harold Jr.

The thing that made the biggest impact for me was General Woman's Conference. Things have never been more clear to me before. This life is all about Loving and Serving others. The joy I feel when listening to the speakers is the most desired feeling in the world. More then any drug or stimulant, the Feeling I get when I listen to the prophet speak and read the Book of Mormon, is the best feeling I have ever felt. No one can force it upon you but it's easy to get. Just open your heart with a humble question and go looking for an answer. I challenge all of you to ask God tonight in prayer anything that's been bugging you, then listen to General Conference this weekend. I promise you will get an answer! Then act on that answer! Like Nike says, Just Do It!
I love you all, Have a great week!

Plan of Salvation for....Eternity!

Update on Honey creek:

When I got to my Apt. we found a mold problem! We threw away our
couch and a lot of extra stuff in the apt. but we're good now!

Sister Chase is a smaller version of me, so it's pretty fun! She's
from Eagle Mt. and Saratoga Springs, she loves missionary work so this
is really going to work out well!
We met with a family on Wednesday. Ryker and Chelsey. They were a
little hardened at first but then she opened up and started to ask us
what we believed about death and if she would ever see her Grandma
again. It was priceless!!!! They are so ready for the gospel of Jesus
Christ, I'm so excited to go back and talk more with them! They have
the sweetest kids ever! I love the whole family despite looks. Terre
Haute is going to be a great place!

This week went by fast! I feel like I missed most of it but I am
grateful to be here, I pray for you all every night and wish you the
best luck ever!
See you soon, 9 more months!!!!

Sister Partridge :)

P.S. Sorry everyone, I'll get pics next week this computer doesn't
have a plug that works.

I'm Going to Honey Creek!!!!

Hey Everyone!
I hope your weeks been going good, I pray your not drowning or on fire where every you are.
This week was awesome! We had Zone confrence on Thursday and talked about Preach My Gospel, I wish I could show all of you the video we watched but I'll try to sum it up. Elder Cook was talking to mission presidents all over the world and he said Preach My Gospel was formed beyond the veil and put together here for us. If we understand the principles in Chapter 3 we have everything we need for personal conversion! I like personal conversion! That sounds like fun... so now I'm studying PMG a whole lot more then I was before and by using PMG to its fullest we will eventually be able to use iPads and then maybe... Smartphones!!!! (Shout out to all my homies in Little Rock, AR!)

This week I want to mention 2 miracles:
1st is the Reed Family. The Reeds are Less active and don't really
open the door to anyone. We ran into them a couple weeks ago, they were having a yard sale. We acted like we had no idea who they were and talked with them for a while. She told us she was a member and that she has been seeing us everywhere lately. Her two daughters look so familiar, too. After that we tried stopping by but they never answered...until last night! Sister Egendorfer (member) asked her if she had seen her neighbors cat (sis Reed feeds all the strays), she said Yes and that she might come to church on Sunday!!!! WooopWhoop!
Who knew all those cats would be a saving grace!

2nd is Jeanine. I can't remember if I have talked about her or not.
Sister W and I met Jeanine at the Methodist concert back in July, she invited us to sing with her in the choir which led into us helping her with Family History. Well, tomorrow I will be in a new area so I had to say goodbye and leave her with a Book of Mormon. I was a little scared because some of her friends have told her some false info about Mormons, but it turned out great. Jeanine is such a special girl. We talked about the book of Mormon and prophets. I told her about how much God loves us and we are all his children, Sis W mentioned the children's hymn "I am a Child of God" and she asked us to sing it. MIRACLE! I was on key and I haven't felt the spirit so strong in a while! It was as if the whole room got a little brighter and Jeanine kept saying "we are the same" over and over. She is such an amazing girl, I can't wait for the day when she is able to be married for time and all eternity with her Man!

I know that I am a Daughter of God and He loves me. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to happiness and we are here to love each other.
Have a Great Week everyone,
Sister P

Free Ride to Jail!

This week has been full of fun!

Sister Gray got really sick but they still wanted to have the
lesson so we ended up going on emergency splits Thursday night. The lesson was at the county Jail too! Yep what an adventure, I got to talk to a lot of people while I was in the waiting room, only one
person to see an inmate at a time and Chris wasn't even suppose to be in there. He broke probation by going to church with out permission.
He is truly repentant. Chris is so awesome! He wants this more
then ever and he's willing to work for it, too. What a great guy!

Friday, sister Gray was still sick so I got to go to Campus!!!
Yippee!!!! IUPUI was so empty Friday night, but its okay, sister Giles and I had some fun and almost got a return apartment with a couple of people.
The weather has taken a dive. Its been really cold the last 4 days
and Sister Womack's praying for snow....she's one of those people.
That's okay, I still love her, shes amazing!

Megan and Jack got married!!! It was a simple ceremony and she started to cry, I had no idea people actually cried at those things. But, it was nice and ...unexpected how strong the spirit was in the park that day. Nothing fancy happened, just a lot of Joy. The fancy came later with a cake I made! Muahahahhaah!

I have found a new love for the scriptures this week. In only 5 mins
anyone can feel the spirit and all you have to do is replace the words "they", "He" "She" We" and put your name. It works, My favorite chapter to read is 3 Nephi 17. Feel free to feast, friends!

Have a great week! :) Love ya,
Sister P
