Opera and Jesus are Making a come Back!

Hey Everyone,
I will be staying in Plainfield for another 6 weeks! WooHoo!
There are people that need the gospel and I'm here to Help them find it!
This week was crazy! Preston LaPointe got baptized! YAY!!! The spirit was so strong, I have such a greater appreciation for baptism and the Sacrament. They are both soooo powerful if we want them to be, thanks Mom for all the pictures of Christ they really help!

We were also invited to a HUGE community Fish Fry and Organ concert at a Methodist church. I think I know more people at the Methodist church then in my ward! Haha! We made a lot of friends and the concert was great! I may have had a headache after but it was super cool seeing so many people come together in Love. My favorite piece was the U.S. songs for the different services. Those who had served stood when there song was played. It was amazing to see the Pride in those men.  Many were hunched over or in wheelchairs but those that could stand, stood tall and proud. That's how I want to stand at the end of my life in front of the Lord.
My Savior is everything and he has given me everything. Now its my turn to serve his children in his place. I love being a missionary in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission and I wouldn't trade it for the
world!

I love all of you and wish you a Great Day! Go out and be the best you can be today, stand all and be proud of who you are - A Child of the Living God! AMEN BROTHER!
Sister P :)

We met Megan last week, she is an opera singer that her church will rent out to other churches. She was sooooo good!
The organ cost .5 million dollars and they had a world class pianist
come in as well as a trumpet player.
...and here is a cat stoking a bunny...they sat their for 30 mins with
out moving! Life goals!

Pioneer Pie and Freedom in Zion!

Happy Pioneer Day Everyone! Utah is probably going crazy right now, I like it! :)
Hope you all have a good week, thank you for all the birthday wishes! I really felt your love, thank you everyone!

The weather in Indiana has been great...up till this week! I almost
had heat exhaustion on Thursday, drink your water kids! ;) Haha
I had a prompting to stop by an old investigators house on Friday
after District meeting and ya know what, It worked! Tina was home and wanted to talk!!!! She is going through some really hard family stuff right now but has made time for us next week! I'm so excited, the Gospel of Jesus Christ could help her so much and God trusts us enough to share it!  The Gospel Blesses Lives!

On Saturday we had a Pioneer day party for the ward in
celebration of our freedom! Yay!!! We had pie eating contests and
water balloon fights. I got attacked by the kids and was soaked after, but it felt good in the heat.
We had a lesson with Preston last night. He has grown so much!
We studied the Commandments for his lesson and I was shocked (I
shouldn't have been, but was) to see all the Blessings from following the guide lines of God.
I once asked my companion why the apostles seem so happy? She replied "Because they listen to the Holy Ghost." I couldn't help but think, Do I listen to the Holy Ghost? Am I happy? I finally understand the "WHY" to keeping the commandments and I LOVE IT! My favorite commandments are Obedience, Prayer, and Scripture Study. When these three things are followed we find knowledge, enlightenment, joy, and calming. Just as Mosiah 2:41 said, "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the
blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God.
For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and
spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received
into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of
never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it."
AMEN Brother!
Thats all I got to say, Have a Great Week! I love ya'll!

Chigger Bites and Dinner Delights!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope life is treating you well!
~Chiggers are ...weird.
~Mosquito are ...not bad.
~I LOVE the heat out here.
~We have one NEW investigator!
Indiana has been going through some crazy changes. It rained so hard on Tuesday the river almost flooded. Several back yards were gone by the end of the day! But everything is fine the next day, like nothing ever happened. We were trying our best to save on miles this week, so we've been walking everywhere.
You know your doing something good when nothing seems to go right! That was this week! The pictures really explain a lot but the gift God gave to us for the hard work came in the form of Patty.
Patty is the sweetest old lady ever! Sister Elenburg invited us
over for dinner and arranged for Patty to come too. It was thee
perfect setting to introduce the missionaries. We talked about
families and history and tied it all into the Restoration of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Patty has a strong faith in Jesus Christ and
loves him! Since her Mom died and her Boyfriend left on a mission she's been relying on Sister Elenburg... and now The BOOK OF MORMON!!! There was such an amazing spirit in the home that night. Patty testified of God's family. She was baptized in The Church of Christ on this last mother's day and was over come with feelings of love and accomplishment. She is so close to the spirit its amazing! Sister Womack and I left on a spiritual High and all the credit goes to preparation, team work, and of course, The Spirit!
I know this is Heavenly Fathers church, its his plan and nothing
can stop his spirit from reaching his children. I have seen angels
work in my life and in so many others just like Patty's. We have
nothing to be ashamed of or sad about. This life will be over all to
fast. I know I'll be doing better to make my experience and others
better!

I'll get off my soap box now. Really, you are all so awesome! I love
all of you so much, knowing your there has been a huge help to me!
Have an AMAZING week guys!
  Love, Sister P

We got to drive with a member...with the top down!

Indiana's July 4th lasts longer then a day....

I Believe In Miracles!!!
Our Forth was CrAZy! It started with taking pictures with the
Sister Training Leaders, we took there car to save on miles, and that's when I met my first hard core Jehovah Witness. Taking pictures down town can get you some great stories! Then we ended up taking a tour of President Harrison's home. That was way fun to be apart of, all the original rugs and chairs and wood was still their! We got caught in a 5 min. down pour at the Mall. Then we went to Fishers for some good old fashioned Fish n' Chips at the YSA (Young Single Adult) presidents house. I don't like fish but for some reason me and sister Grey couldn't stop eating!
Sister Grey also prepared traditional English mashed peas! It tastes
like it sounds, too... It was a great meal for me, but everyone else
ended up having hamburgers and hot dogs. Haha, Americans cant make English food even if we try!
Fireworks were fun, we mainly watched them as we drove back to the church to get our car...then we realized.... the Malibu was
blocked in! There was no way for us to get out! ...So there was only
one thing to do! Sleepover at the Sister Training Leaders!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It was the day the
Lord made it possible for us to have freedom of choice! Freedom of Religion is a real thing and because of it a young boy was able to get revelation for the greatest Truth to come forth again in our time and age! If it weren't for the hard work of those that came before us we would not be here to stand as God's People! Love one another and never give up on inviting others to share in the joy the Restored Gospel brings! It's truly a blessing and we need to be grateful for this amazing gift.
I love you all! Have a Great week!
Sister Partridge :)

We found a mural of the Lamanites and the Nephites!

I'm pretty sure Sister Womack thinks I'm a weirdo!

The Parable of Deathstar!

This week was way fun!
~ Sister Womack has Allergies!
~ I made a new friend while tracting!
~ We have a new investigator that's on Date to be Baptized!
~ We have a return appointment with Rhonda!
This week has been insane! We have been working our tails off with tracting, visiting members, and catching frogs, just kidding... It caught me!
On Tuesday Sister Womack taught me how to teach the restoration in 3 mins! When we went tracting that night we used it, too! Yes! We got a return apt. with a lady named Rhonda. She came back to Jesus when her husband had his heart attack, we will be meeting them tonight and I am so excited!
As we kept going down the street, we were on a doorstep when I remembered we needed to take a picture for the day... then I saw it! Deathstar the Frog was curled up in the upper right corner of the door frame. No one was answering the door and sister Womack was like "leave it alone" ... Then I poked it and it Jumped straight at Sis. Womack. I wish I could show all of you what her reaction was, but I will try to describe it. Deathstar jumped onto my watch, but sis. Womack screamed and started doing this little dance that involved throwing her arms in the air and waving them around like she just did not care, lol...the whole time yelling "ITS ON ME! ITS ON ME!" Haha, it was a beautiful moment in our relationship! I love Deathstar!

Which brings me to my spiritual thought of the day: Fear not.
I knew the whole time she was just fine, there was no frog on her, but she wouldn't listen to me when I tried to tell her what I knew.  I'm sure God feels this way with all of us at some point. He knows we aren't in danger and yet we are still flailing. We just need to take a step back, a deep breath, and simply listen. Sister Womack showed me her favorite scripture and I think there is no better scripture to memorize for the week. Yep, My challenge to you is to memorize 2 Tim 1:7 or another scripture you can use when fear starts to creep into our minds. I know that memorized scripture is one of the easiest ways for the Lord to comfort us right before the big scary Frogs of life jump at us. 2 Tim has definitely helped me over come my fears this week and it will in the future, too!
I leave you with this story to smile about and a spiritual lift, in
the name of Jesus the Christ, amen and Have a great week!
